My career in financial services started with an entry-level role and an openness to learn. As I pursued my licenses and deepened my understanding of the industry, what became clear was that this work genuinely fit. It combines two things I find meaningful: helping people understand something complex and making a real difference in how they approach one of the most important areas of their lives.
I have been in the industry for nearly a decade, working previously at Ameriprise Financial and Comerica. I joined the Coastal Ridge Wealth team in 2019, and the work since then has been built around a shared commitment to what an excellent client experience actually looks like.
My role covers client service and operations, which in practice means I am responsible for making sure every detail is handled correctly and every client stays informed throughout the process. Account servicing, new account openings, paperwork, trade placement, and client communication are all part of my scope, and I take ownership of each piece. What clients tend to notice is that they do not have to follow up to find out where things stand. Proactive communication is part of the service itself, and I work to make sure clients always know what is happening and what comes next.
What motivates me most is the moment when something complex finally becomes clear for a client. Those conversations, where someone moves from uncertain to confident, are the reason I show up fully every day.
Outside of the office, I spend a lot of time outdoors. Beach volleyball, hiking, and morning runs are regular parts of my week, and weekends often include farmers' markets and exploring new restaurants around San Diego. My husband, Juan, our son, Cruz, and our dog, Rey, are at the center of my life away from work. We recently took Cruz on his first international trip to Japan when he was just eight months old, which felt like the right introduction to how our family approaches things. I grew up in Lowell, Indiana, and San Diego has been home ever since I made the move west.
